Lemon Pop, who became the just the fourth horse in history to win JRA both dirt G1 races in the same year. He returned to Miho Training Center at around 1:30 a.m. on December 4th. Assistant trainer Tabata said, "He's eating well, but I get the feeling that he's a little tired," referring to his horse's condition a night after his famous victory.

Lemon Pop conquered the 1,800m Champions Cup for the first time and has won three G1/Jpn1 races this year alone. "It was a career best performance, and if he lost this race, there was no way I could believe it. I am very happy that he overcame the distance, and I think his value as a stallion has increased. Firstly, we will see how he recovers, and then we will start to make plans for next year." said Tabata, looking forward to an exciting 2024.
