Sent-off favourite, Reframing with Yuga Kawada on board won the G3 Kokura Kinen at Chukyo Racecourse on Sunday. Costa Bonita finished second, a neck behind the winner, and Deep Monster came home in third 3/4 length behind Costa Bonita. The inning time was 1:56.5.

The winning horse, Reframing, is by King Halo, out of Healing, with Battle Plan as the damsire. This victory marked Reframing's long-awaited first graded stakes win. Additionally, jockey Yuga Kawada secured back-to-back Kokura Kinen wins, following his victory last year aboard Echt. The winning time of 1:56.5 not only surpassed Jack d'Or's 1:57.2, set in the 2022 G2 Kinko Sho but also established a new course record at Chukyo Racecourse.
