Epluchage, who weighs in at 634kg, became the heaviest horse in NAR history to win a race after winning the second race at Oi Racecourse in Tokyo.
Epluchage is a son of Justify out of Champagne Room, by Broken Vow. His dam is the winner of the G1 Breeder's Cup Juvenile Fillies in 2016. This was his first race since transferring from JRA to NAR, meaning he claimed his unique title at the first attempt.
